New Day Coaching LLC, doing business as New Day Exposure Coaching · Maine
Version 1.1 · Effective September 2026

The short version. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not track you. I only hold information you choose to give me: by email, on the intake form, or as a client. I never sell it. The only marketing exception is a testimonial, and those are published only with written permission. You can ask me what I hold, ask for a copy, or ask me to correct it, any time.

1. This website

Browsing newday.coach is anonymous. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party trackers. I do not know who visits, how often, or what pages they read.

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google and Google receives your IP address as part of serving them. That is the only third party involved in simply viewing the site.

You can get in touch two ways. Emailing me directly is an ordinary email you control. The consultation request form is a Google Form, so what you enter goes straight into New Day's own Google Workspace account and nowhere else. It is short on purpose, and it asks you not to put detailed health information in it, because that conversation belongs somewhere more considered than a web form.

2. What I collect

If you email me

Whatever you choose to write, plus your email address. That is it.

If you request a consultation

Your name and email, your phone number if you give one, who the coaching would be for, whether a therapist is already involved, when you are reachable, and anything you choose to write in the last box. I ask about a therapist because coaching runs alongside therapy rather than in place of it, so it tells me early whether I am the right call. If you are not the right fit, I will say so and point you somewhere better.

If you complete the intake questionnaire

The intake form asks for contact and emergency contact details, and for health-related background including current care, diagnoses you choose to share, medications related to anxiety or mood, and any history of hospitalization, self-harm, or suicidal thoughts. I ask for this because it tells me whether coaching is safe and appropriate for you, and how to keep you safe if something comes up. Most questions are optional; the ones marked required are the ones I genuinely need.

If you become a client

Session notes, exposure practice and progress records, your Coaching Plan, payment records, and the messages you send me between sessions.

3. How I use it

Only to provide coaching: planning sessions, tracking progress, coordinating with your authorized therapist, scheduling, and billing.

I do not sell client information. I do not share it with anyone except as described in the next section.

The one marketing exception is a testimonial. If you ever offer to share your experience on my website, I will ask for your permission in writing, show you exactly what would appear, and use only the wording you approve. You can withdraw that permission at any time and I will take it down. Saying no changes nothing about your coaching.

4. Who else sees it

What you share in coaching is kept confidential, with these exceptions:

  • Information you have authorized me to share, or that a parent or guardian has authorized for a client under 18, including under the Therapist Collaboration Authorization you sign before we begin
  • Risk of serious harm to you or to someone else
  • Suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult
  • Where disclosure is required by law or court order

I also rely on two service providers to operate, and your information passes through them: Google Workspace for email, video sessions, forms, and secure storage, and Stripe for payments. I never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles that directly.

For clients under 18, parent and guardian communication works as described in the Parent/Guardian Consent you sign before coaching begins: day-to-day session content stays between your teen and me, and parents receive a monthly progress update, immediate contact if I believe there is a risk to safety, and anything required by law.

5. How it is stored, and for how long

Records live in New Day’s Google Workspace account, protected by 2-step verification.

I keep records for seven years after coaching ends. For clients who were under 18, I keep them until seven years after coaching ends or seven years after the client turns 18, whichever is later. They are deleted after that.

6. Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of your records, ask what I hold, or ask me to correct something that is wrong. Email hannah@newday.coach and I will respond.

7. Coaching is not a medical service

New Day Exposure Coaching is not a HIPAA-covered entity, and coaching is not therapy or medical care. That means the specific legal protections that apply to your therapist’s records do not automatically apply to mine. I treat your information with the same care regardless, exactly as described on this page.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the version and date at the top of the page change with it. Current clients will be told directly about anything that materially affects them.

9. Contact

Questions about any of this go to Hannah Chase at hannah@newday.coach.
